Acceptance

By using Drive by OgenSync, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Drive by OgenSync lets users sign in with Google, verify a phone number, choose specific Google Drive files or Google Photos media, and store private copies in OgenSync storage nodes. The app is a storage migration and backup utility, not a public file-sharing service.

Account responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account and phone verification information.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account and keeping your account secure.
• You are responsible for all files and media you select for import.

Permissions and Google services

The service accesses Google data only after you grant permission through Google OAuth and only for the flows you start. Google Drive and Google Photos availability, file export behavior, and API limits are controlled by Google and may affect imports.

Your content

You retain ownership of files, media, and metadata you import. You grant OgenSync permission to process, transfer, store, display metadata for, and provide private downloads of that content only as needed to operate the service.

Acceptable use

• Do not import, store, or distribute content you do not own or are not authorized to use.
• Do not use the service for malware, phishing, spam, harassment, illegal content, or rights violations.
• Do not try to bypass quotas, security controls, storage-node signing, authentication, or rate limits.
• Do not attempt to access another user's account, files, metadata, or storage nodes.

Storage and availability

Storage capacity, import speed, file-size support, queue processing, and availability may vary based on Cloudflare, Google API behavior, configured storage nodes, and plan limits. The service may reject files that exceed configured limits or cannot be downloaded/exported from Google.

Deletion and termination

You may delete imported files where the app provides deletion controls, revoke Google access from your Google Account, or contact support for deletion assistance. We may suspend or terminate access if use of the service violates these Terms, creates security risk, or may harm users or infrastructure.

No warranties

The service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OgenSync disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, and error-free imports.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OgenSync will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The latest version will be posted at drive.ogensync.com/terms with an updated date.
